Blue Cheese Burgers

Worcestershire/Lime Dip

2 T Worcestershire sauce

2 T lime juice

1 T honey

¾ t Sirache hot sauce

  1. Mix together in a microwave safe dish and heat until boiling. Cool to room temperature.

 

1lb of ground beef (97% fat-free) formed into 8 patties—5 -6” in diameter and ¼“ thick

4 T of any blue cheese preferred

  1. Lay out 4 patties. Place 1 T of blue cheese in center of each.

  2. Place the remaining 4 patties on top of the 1st patties and seal the edges by pinching them together.

  3. Preheat a non-stick frying pan* on medium high heat.

  4. Dip each formed patty into the Worcestershire/lime sauce (both sides) and place into the hot pan. Cook through. About 2 minutes on each side.

Makes 4 burgers

*If you use a regular pan, you run the risk of the burgers tearing and all the cheesy goodness spilling out.
